Talklino is the controller for processing that takes place directly through our website and accounts. For visitor data a customer collects through the chat widget, that customer is the controller and Talklino acts as processor.

Depending on your use, we may process the following data:

• Account data, such as name, email address and secure login credentials.
• Company, website, subscription and billing data.
• Chat messages, tags, contact details and files shared in conversations.
• Technical data, such as IP address, browser, device, visited page and time.
• Support requests and communication with Talklino.

We use data to provide the service, secure accounts, route conversations, give support, manage payments, prevent abuse, improve performance and comply with legal obligations. The legal basis may be performance of a contract, legitimate interest, consent or a legal obligation.

We only share data with service providers needed for hosting, security, email, payments and analytics, or when required by law. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

We keep data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Account and contract data may be kept after termination as long as legally required or needed for disputes. Customers decide within the service how long their chat data is needed.

Talklino uses appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access restrictions, encrypted connections, monitoring and backups. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to talklino@outlook.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your competent data protection authority.
